      Wednesday, March 20, 2019, 12 – 1 pm

Women in Postal History: Women served as postmasters in the United States more than a century before they won the right to vote. In celebration of Women’s History Month, USPS historian Jenny Lynch will present “Women in Postal History,” a historical overview of women postal workers. The talk will be followed by a Q&A session.

Jenny Lynch has been historian of the U.S. Postal Service since 2012. She helps preserve and share the organization’s history. Her responsibilities include responding to requests for information, writing for the Postal Service’s Postal History webpages, and managing its collection of historic artifacts, records and publications.
