      Thriving Mindfully Moon Circle - Full Moon

      Gather in a diverse community to understand, embrace, and celebrate the power of the new and moon in your life, career, and business each month. During the full moon circle, you will have an opportunity to practice mindful self-care with meditation, breathing exercises, gentle chair yoga, reflection, journaling, release and forgiveness, and self-celebration. Dress comfortably and bring your favorite journal and pen. Save the dates and get your tickets for the 2019 new and full moon circles. Full Moon Circles ($20): Sept 14 & Oct 12 at 8:30-10PM and Nov 12 & Dec 11 at 7:30-9PM  New Moon Circles ($20): Sept 27 at 8:30-10PM and Oct 27 & Nov 24 at 6:30-8PM (No Dec Circle) The moon circle is led by Ananda Leeke, a mindfulness meditation and yoga teacher, reiki master, author, and artist. Ananda is also the Chief Mindfulness Officer of Ananda Leeke Consulting, a personal and professional development firm that helps people, corporations, and organizations practice mindfulness and self-care in their lives, careers, and business. Each month, Mama Moon or La Luna invites us to slow down, become still, and go within to reconnect with our spirit, heart, mind, and body through its sacred cycle of eight phases. The eight phases of the moon include: New Moon (new beginnings, gather ideas, set intention & plan ahead for coming month) Waxing Crescent Moon (affirm and make intention known with accountability and develop willpower to manifest intention) First Quarter Moon (take action to manifest intention and overcome obstacles) Waxing Gibbous Moon (check in and assess the viability of action needed to manifest intention; course correct where needed before moving forward) Full Moon (open your heart to receive and celebrate the harvest of your past intentions and even your current intention) Waning Gibbous Moon (slow down, get still, and go within to reflect on how you feel as you practice gratitude) Third Quarter Moon (release and let go of habits and thought processes that hold you back, and forgive yourself) Waning Crescent Moon (surrender and rest in preparation for the next moon cycle)
