      Making Bhagavad Gita a Life Transforming Pursuit | Spiritual Retreat

      The Bhagavad Gita retreat in the association of Swami Nirviseshananda Tirtha is meant for those who are interested in making the Bhagavad Gita a Life-transforming Pursuit. Sessions include discourses, introspection, guided meditation, chanting and Q & A with Swamiji. Swamiji imparts the fundamental message of the Gita in a practical and relatable manner, showing us how to successfully practice the Yoga of Bhagavad Gita at all times, in any situation. All are welcome to participate, the only criterion is that participants must attend all the sessions spread over 3 days, as each session builds upon the preceding ones. Participants will be requested to turn off their cell phones during the sessions to encourage uninterrupted attention and involvement. In consonance with our traditional culture, we do not charge for Knowledge. Hence, there is no fee for this program. CIRD NA is committed to organizing programmes beneficial to all; voluntary support to run such programs is welcome. All are welcome. Apply at - About Swami Nirviseshananda Tirtha Born in a spiritual family of Bengal, India, Swamiji evinced a strong inclination for the spiritual path from a very young age. At the age of 24, he got initiated into the practical pursuit of Brahma-vidya from Baba Gangadhara Paramahamsa (Swami Bhoomanandaji’s Gurudev) of Dakshinkhanda, West Bengal. In 1987, Swami Nirviseshananda renounced his professional life as a scientist and assistant professor at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) - Kharagpur, to dedicate himself wholesomely to the service of Poojya Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha in all aspects of his mission: Knowledge dissemination, socio-religious reformation movements, and environmental protection. In his educational and academic career, Swamiji has provided a fundamental contribution in the field of Electromagnetics and holds a Ph.D. in Electromagnetics (Inverse Scattering).
