      The Enders Lecture on U.S.-Canadian Relations: Hon. Kimberly Breier, US Assistant Secretary of State for the Western Hemisphere

      The Thomas O. Enders Memorial Lecture on U.S.-Canadian Relations honors the legacy of a former U.S. Ambassador to Canada (1976-1979), Ambassador to the European Community (1979-1981), Assistant Secretary of State for Inter-American Affairs (1981-1983), and to Ambassador to Spain (1983-1986). It is held each year at the Johns Hopkins University Nitze School (SAIS) with the support of the Enders Endowment. This year's Enders lecture will be given by the Honorable Kimberly Breier, Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs. Ms. Breier served as the Western Hemisphere Member of the Policy Planning Staff at the Department of State, and at the White House in the National Security Council’s Office of Western Hemisphere Affairs, first as Director for Brazil and the Southern Cone, then as Director for Mexico and Canada, and also as an interim Director for the Andean region.
