We like writing pop music. We draw a lot from the 80's, including Peter Gabriel, The Police and Talking Heads, says Ocean. Their music incorporated synthesizers and drum machines, had tons of energy and it had a very eclectic sound. From a songwriting standpoint, that is where we draw our inspiration and today we attempt to bridge the gap by using a similar sonic palette in combination with modern recording technologies including Ableton." added Mendelsohn.A debut album is set to arrive via Nettwerk Music Group in Spring of 2014. The duo has been staying busy playing the Virgin Mobile FreeFest and North Coast Music Festival as a live band earlier this year along with a DJ set at TomorrowWorld Festival and regular apperances at Le Bain (NYC), The W Hotel (NYC, Atlanta), Southside (NYC) and SoHo House (MIA).LightwavesLightwaves is no stranger to All Things Go. If you've ever been to an ATG event, chances are you've seen him at work behind the decks. And chances are it was fun as hell. The DC-based artist has also done his fair share of remixes for the likes of Freelance Whales, St. Lucia, Savoir Adore, Queen of Hearts, Mausi, Strange Talk and more. This December he released his debut single "Starting To Believe," an infectious mix of pure, unadultered synth-pop. Lightwaves is preparing to release a series of new singles early 2014. Stay tuned.
