Also a great time go over troubleshooting and known issues. Class Curriculum How do I put my M300 together and what are all these parts called? To Connect to the Glasses Frames: The M300 uses a “rail mount” system to slide the battery and device onto the glasses frames. They can be mounted on either the left or right side. Grab the micro battery and locate the cutout where the power cable goes. The opening for the rail mount is at the exact opposite end and side of the battery. Line up the opening for the rail mount on the micro battery with the rail on the glasses frames on the desired side. Push the battery onto the rail. It should have some resistance, but not too much. If there is too much resistance it is likely not lined up properly. Remove the battery and try again. Repeat for the device side. To Connect the Power Cable: Align the positioning tab on the heel of the connector with thecorresponding indent in the female connector on the Hot-Swap Battery Rotate the front edge of the connector down until its spring clipclicks into place The connectors on each end of the Power Cable are interchangeable and can be connected to either the Hot-Swap Battery or Main Unit. The tab on the heel of the connector which secures the connector can be used to help align the connector for a proper connection. How do I properly charge the device? (2 amp adapter) Your M300 Smart Glasses contain two batteries, both of which must be fully charged prior to their initial use. The Hot-Swap Battery module contains the primary battery and a standby battery is contained in the Main Unit to keep the M300 powered during swapping of the Hot-Swap Battery modules. The Hot-Swap Battery can be charged independently using a USB power source providing a minimum of 500mA. You can also connect the Main and Hot-Swap Battery units together using the Power Cable to charge them simultaneously using a USB power source providing a minimum of 1.5A. Standard USB ports on computers provide only 500mA. A USB power source providing a minimum of 1.5A is required to charge the M300 while connected to the Hot-Swap Battery. Name the buttons and their short press actions. If the device is on the right side of your head the buttons are on the top, if on the left they are on the bottom. Feel for 3, big, chunky buttons along the top side of the device going from your eyeball toward your ear. The first button is #1, the one in the middle #2 and the one closest to your ear #3.
